#LearningNeverStops
How Vijay Computer Academy is taking education from disruption to recovery with the best training tools for online learning.
As per UNESCO, some
1 billion students and youth across the planet are affected by school and
university closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Together, as we adapt to
the ever-changing “new normal,” Vijay Computer Academy (VCA) is here to provide
you with the technology skills that will keep you connected, help you to learn
& work productive remotely and everything in between.
It is evident through this pandemic that switching
to an online platform for digital learning was difficult but necessary. We want
to work with you to provide training for educational staff and students to
ensure a smooth transition and quality learning environment for the children.
IT is even essential in everyone’s everyday life which will come useful not just
for digital learning but in students’ overall lives.
VCA is preparing students, educators, administrators, staff members for remote learning and teaching by offering training on zoom and skype
The coronavirus has made the
return back to the classrooms virtually impossible to do without risking
transmission of the disease. Precautions are being taken, but because there are
no absolute guarantees, many educators are apprehensive about conducting in-person
instruction. VCA can show you how to conduct class lessons through remote
learning efficiently and effectively. With internet tools like zoom and skype teleconferencing
software, teachers can run their classrooms from a digital platform that gives
their students the best learning experience.
Training on MS -OFFICE, GOOGLE APPS and other basic IT skills
Some businesses that have been heavily hit by closures due to the coronavirus pandemic have left many people furloughed, downsized or jobless. Among the industries that have been significantly affected are hotels, restaurants, airlines and salons. During this time when the return back to work is uncertain and tenuous, it’s the best time to upskill and reskill with training in MS Office, google apps and other basic IT skills. VCA has IT bootcamps and IT certifications that will help you transition to a better career with higher pay.
Preparing students for workforce through our IT bootcamps
As businesses become more and more technology driven, students who plan to enter the workforce in the near future may not be quite ready for the employment landscape that awaits them. Many students aren’t equipped with a learning curriculum that goes beyond the basic high school courses required to graduate. They’ll have an essential need for tech skills to get high paying jobs, if they want to meet the demand for IT skills.
Unfortunately, many teachers don’t have the digital training to educate their students with the computer skills that they must have to meet an employer’s needs. At VCA we can train students through our IT bootcamps to give them the necessary skills to prepare them for the workforce.
Virtual STEM, coding clubs for girls
At VCA we’re introducing more and more girls to STEM education through coding clubs. Our affiliation with Girls Who Code provides us with the ability to provide after school clubs for girls to learn coding in a safe online environment for a virtual experience.
Girls will get started with learning basic programming languages and functions to help them understand the fundamentals of coding. Contact us today to find out how you or your child can join a club today!
After school virtual IT training programs
Before the covid-19 pandemic ravaged the world, after school activities like sports, music groups, language clubs and other extracurricular activities held a standing appointment on students’ social calendars. Social distancing has removed these programs from schedules all over the world, leaving many children with a gaping hole in their after-school learning. VCA offers IT training programs in a virtual learning format through zoom and skype. Students will learn programming, mobile apps development, Microsoft office, python and other digital skills.
